Volunteer for us

At Base 25 we welcome the support of volunteers and appreciate the valuable contributions made by each individual that continue to volunteer for us.

Working in the voluntary sector with young people is both rewarding and enjoyable, offering a great opportunity to give something back to the community. As well, individuals who volunteer with us gain transferable skills and experience that can be used for future career pathways, meet different kinds of people and gain confidence.

People volunteer for Base 25 in many different ways and we provide opportunities to train volunteers to work directly with young people as well as offering student placement for counsellors, social workers and youth workers. Often, volunteers will go on to achieve from the experience that they have gained from Base 25.

For some young people, Base 25 is an essential part of their support network. With your donation, we will help young people receive the support they need to build their aspirations, beliefs and skills.

Fundraise for us

Fundraise to support young people in shaping their lives by using your skills, talents and expertise to raise money for the young people who access Base 25.   If you have some spare time you could host an event, bake cakes to sell or even run a marathon to help raise funds for us.

The difficulty is deciding what to do and how to do it.  If this is something that you are interested in and would like to talk to us about it, then please get in touch.

All we ask is that you do it safely and legally.  For more information, you could check out the Fundraising Standards Board website: http://www.frsb.org.uk/donors/fundraising/
