Q: Who can refer to Base 25?

A: We accept referrals from external agencies as well as self-referrals, parents and carers are also able to refer young people.

 

Q: How long does it take for a referral to be processed?

A: The processing of referrals can vary depending on the service the young person is being referred to. We aim to process your referral as soon as possible, however in-demand services may take longer to process. If you have not received any confirmation that your referral has been received please contact Base 25 for more information regarding your referral.

Please be aware that counselling is a high demand service and there is a waiting list.

 

Q: When does Drop In service open?

A: Drop In is open Monday - Friday between 3-5pm.

 

Q: Do we offer free STI tests/pregnancy tests?

A: Yes. We can only offer Chlamydia tests for young people aged 25 and under. Pregnancy tests are available to young people ages 19 and under (we can only test young people who are more than 10 days late on their period as the test will not be reliable).

We are happy to signpost young people with regards to any other sexual health queries and/or concerns during our Drop In service.

 

Q: Do we offer free Contraception?

A: We can offer condoms to young people aged 19 and under through the C-Card scheme.

Q: Do we have a car park?

A: Unfortunately we do not have a car park, however we are based in Wolverhampton town centre and there are a number of car parks within walking distance to our premises - car parks may have a parking fee.
